A ventilator machine is also known as a respirator or breathing machine. It is popularly referred to as life support or life sustaining equipment. Ventilator machine is used to assist to deliver breaths to a patient when they are unable to effectively breathe on their own. Ventilator machines may be used temporarily or permanently.
