Clarifications and common queries

How is a named user defined?

A named user is an individual associated with a unique corporate email address. Each named user authenticates with their own credentials, and all access activity is logged against their account. Credentials may not be shared.

For Cloud Access, the named user is registered at the point of purchase. For Team Licence, the five seats may be assigned through the account dashboard at any time during the access period.

Is licence upgrade available after purchase?

Yes. Upgrades from Cloud Access to Team Licence or Enterprise are available within 60 days of purchase at the price difference between the two licences. Upgrades requested after 60 days are processed at the full price of the new licence.

Upon upgrade, the access period resets to twelve months from the date of upgrade. Please contact our team to process an upgrade request.

What occurs at the end of the access period?

At the end of the access period — three months for Cloud Access, twelve months for Team Licence and Enterprise — online access is suspended and update notifications are discontinued.

PDF and Excel files previously downloaded under a Team Licence or Enterprise licence remain in the customer's possession; however, the rights to distribute or share these files terminate with the access period.

Renewal is available at a 30% discount within 60 days of expiry.

How does the Enterprise licence treat subsidiaries?

The Enterprise licence covers the parent organisation and any subsidiary in which the parent holds a majority interest, defined as ownership exceeding 50%. Joint ventures, minority holdings, and affiliated entities are not automatically included.

At the point of purchase, the customer provides a list of corporate email domains to be covered (for example, @acme.com, @acme-asia.com, @acme-labs.io). Access is granted to all users authenticating with addresses on these domains.

Should the corporate structure change during the licence period — through acquisition or divestment — the domain list may be amended upon notification.

May findings or excerpts be cited externally?

Brief citations with full attribution are permitted under all three licences, subject to the following scope:

Cloud Access — internal documents and presentations.
Team Licence — internal documents and client deliverables.
Enterprise — internal documents, client deliverables, and external marketing materials including press releases and sales collateral.

Under no licence is it permitted to redistribute the report in full, publish tables or charts on public-facing websites without prior written consent, or use the research to develop competing publications.

What if the team expands beyond five users?

Should the team exceed five users during the access period, the customer may upgrade to Enterprise by paying only the difference between the two licence fees. Upgrades are available within 60 days of the original purchase, and the access period resets to twelve months from the date of upgrade.

For organisations anticipating more than eight users, the Enterprise licence is typically the more cost-effective option from the outset.

In which formats is the report delivered?

The full report is delivered as a PDF document of 150 or more pages. The supporting dataset is provided as an Excel workbook containing the underlying tables, regional breakdowns, segment forecasts, and company profiles.

Cloud Access users access both via the secure online reader. Team Licence and Enterprise users receive downloadable files in addition to online access.

Are custom enterprise arrangements available?

Yes. Custom arrangements may be negotiated for organisations requiring site-wide licences across multiple reports, annual subscription pricing, alternative data delivery (API access, raw datasets, dashboard integration), or specific compliance requirements relating to procurement or legal review. Please contact our team to discuss requirements.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund is available within seven days of purchase where the report does not align with the specifications provided on the product page, provided that no downloads have been initiated under a Team Licence or Enterprise licence.

For Cloud Access, the refund window extends to fourteen days from the date of purchase, irrespective of the number of viewing sessions.
