Solar power generating systems absorb sunlight and transform it into electricity which is used by different industry and population. Solar Power Generation Systems market is segmented into Centralized PV power generation system and Decentralised PV power generation system. Centralized PV power generation system consists of large-scale PV arrays, grid-tied inverters, LV AC distribution, step-up transformer, MV or HV switchgear, energy meter and SCADA system. When sunlight is strong, PV array directly converts solar energy into electrical energy and outputs DC voltage. Then grid-tied inverter converts it to AC voltage and supplies electricity to local load, the surplus will be transmitted to grid and the electricity gap will be complementary by the public grid.

Factors for the growth of Solar Power Generation Systems market are many plants utilize factory-integrated skids that combine inverters, medium-voltage transformers and switchgear into packages that range in capacity from 1 MW to 2.5 MW. It gives advantage of optimized component compatibility, as well as reduced installation time and expense.

Decentralised energy, is always produced to the place where it will be used rather than at a large plant elsewhere and sent through the national grid. Due to generation at the local place, transmission is reduced and lowers carbon emission. Long term decentralised energy can offer more competitive prices than traditional energy. Initial cost for installation of system is high.

Among the end-user majorly it is used by house builders, developers and PFI consortia, decentralised energy is the cost-effective route to achieving carbon targets. This approach to low carbon energy provision gives you the opportunity to promote a locally provided, sustainable, competitive and smarter energy choice.Major Players For Solar Power Generation Systems market are Schneider, Hitachi, Chint Group, Sunrun, Vivint Solar, NRG Home Solar, Verengo Solar, SolarCity, Sungevity, SunPower, RGS Energy.
