This report includes a dedicated chapter covering supply chain exposure, export controls, sanctions risk, and regulatory shifts affecting Compression Molding Machine Market.
Market Overview
Compression molding machines are used to produce to give required shape to the mold. These machines use hydraulically operated press. Press is provided with one moving mold platens and one stationary mold platens. First step is to heat the required amount of molding material. Then this mold is kept in mold cavity. This mold cavity is designed with required shape. Then pressure is applied for certain amount of time. Due to applied pressure mold acquires required shape. Then the produced component is allowed to cool. Basically, there are 3 types of molding process i.e. compression molding, transfer molding and injection molding.
Compression molding is firstly used to produce composite parts of metal. This compression molding method is suitable to give shapes to fiberglass and thermoplastics. Compression molding has several advantages. It is having high production rate. It is having excellent surface finishing and various types of textures and styling can be given. During the process of compression inserts and embossing can also be done. There is very low wastage of material in this process. Also is maintenance cost being very low. There are no residual stresses in molded components.
The produced components have better dimensional accuracy. Compression molding machine finds its applications in pharmaceutical and chemical industries. There are basically two types of compression molding machines i.e. 2- layer mold and 3-layer mold. The top players of compression molding machines are PAN STONE, Wabash MPI, ARBURG, Sacmi, Tung Yu Hydraulic Machinery Co., LTD., Sumitomo (SHI) Demag, Freeman Schwabe, J. R. D. Rubber and Plastic Technology Private Limited, French Oil Mill Machinery, Long Chang Mechanical industrial, Ace Automation and Hydromech Automation.
Geographically, Global Compression Molding Machine Market is segmented into regions North America, Europe, China, Japan, Southeast Asia and India. Rapid industrialization and advancements in technology is expected to drive this market in forecasted period.
