Chick Embryo Cell Rabies Vaccine contain FLURY-LEP C25 strain of rabies virus was adapted to propagate in primary chick embryo cell cultures. The antigen extracted is purified and concentrated with continuous density gradient centrifugation process. Later antigen is inactivated by Betapropiolactone. Purified Chick Embryo Cell vaccine (PCEC) rabies vaccine was tested for tolerability, innocuity and protective capacity in a sequential laboratory tests and compared with Human Diploid Cell Strain rabies vaccine (HDCSV) of similar antigenicity. Chick Embryo Cell Rabies Vaccine met the high standard of Human Diploid Cell Strain rabies (HDCS) vaccine.
