Overview

In etching of glass, preservation of food, printing textile, and as mothproofing agent ammonium fluoride is used. It is used in chemical analysis and in brewing. It is used in the synthesis of NaHoF4 and NaEuF4, which are important in solid state lasers as well as photoluminescence. The fluoride ion is used as a base and nucleophile in organic synthesis. Ammonium fluoride provide safe deprotection strategy for the tert-butyldimethylsilyl group during RNA synthesis. Hygroscopic and non-combustible. Ammonium Fluoride has ninety eight degree C melting point and sixty five degree C boiling point. The form of Ammonium Fluoride is in powder or solid and white in coloured. Its PH value is six. Ammonium Fluoride can be used as glass etching agent, the chemical polishing agent on the metal surface, preservatives and disinfectants of brewing and fiber mordant as well as for extracting rare metals. It can be used as reagents for the analysis, masking agents and preservatives. It can be applied to wood preservation, glass engraving and precipitation agent for the complex metric titration of the aluminum, extraction of rare elements as well as spot analysis of zirconium.

Ammonium fluoride has good etching ability, so it is widely used in the production process of electronic products. With the rapid development of the electronics industry, the demand for electronic grade ammonium fluoride is increasing, and the purity requirement of ammonium fluoride is also increasing. The traditional production process of electronic grade ammonium fluoride is a liquid phase method, that is, hydrogen fluoride (or hydrofluoric acid) is reacted with ammonia water (or liquid ammonia), and then cooled, crystallized, centrifugally dehydrated, and dried to obtain a finished product.

Product type & Competitive analysis

Ammonium Fluoride Market is divided into Industrial Grade and Electronic Grade. The Industrial grade Ammonium Fluoride is a white powdery crystal. It can easily melt and dissolve in water. It can slightly dissolve in alcohol. When it is affected by the heat or it is in hot water it can be resolved. Industrial grade ammonium fluoride can corrode glass and it is poisonous. Electronic grade ammonium fluoride has forty percent solution. The chemical formula of electronic grade ammonium fluoride is NH4F and the molecular weight is thirty seven point zero four. The appearance of electronic grade ammonium fluoride is colorless liquid. In combination with HF semi grade, electronic grade ammonium fluoride is an ideal buffer in cleaning processes.

Application & Regional analysis

The applications analysis of ammonium fluoride is divided into glass etching agent and electrical components processing. By applying acidic, caustic, or abrasive substances, glass etching comprises the techniques of creating art on the surface of glass. The elimination of minute amounts of glass causes distinguish the rough surface and clear quality of milky glass. Various techniques are used to achieve an etched surface in glass, whether for artistic effect, or simply to create a translucent surface. Available from art supply stores, it consists of fluoride compounds, such as hydrogen fluoride and sodium fluoride (which are still very dangerous). As the types of acids used in this process are extremely hazardous, abrasive methods have gained popularity. Electronic components are used to affect the flow of electricity and to convert electrical energy into other forms such as light, heat, and mechanical energy. A resistor limits (provides resistance to) the flow of electricity. Resistors are measured in units called ohms. Electronic components are used to affect the flow of electricity and to convert electrical energy into other forms such as light, heat, and mechanical energy.

The geographical analysis of ammonium fluoride is split into various regions of the globe, United States, China, Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, and India. Global Electronic Grade Ammonium Fluoride market size will increase to two ninety million US$ by two thousand twenty five, from one sixty million US$ in two thousand seventeen, at a CAGR of seven point nine percent during the forecast period. North America, especially the United States Ammonium Fluoride (CAS 12125-01-8) sales market play an important role which cannot be ignored. The Asia-Pacific will occupy more market share in same stated upcoming years by 2025, especially the China Ammonium Fluoride (CAS 12125-01-8) Sales Market as usual will show an enormous growth and led to one of the top industry growth for the industry, also fast growing India and Southeast Asia regions.
