It is a conjugate base of a L-valinium. It is a conjugate acid of a L-valinate. It is an enantiomer of a D-valine. It is a tautomer of a L-valine zwitterion. The availability of L-Valine feed grade allows fulfilling these requirements without increasing dietary crude protein levels which would be detrimental for health and environment concerns. Moreover, L-Valine gives the chance to increase Lys dietary levels while the ideal amino acid profile is keep up resulting in strong improvement in performance. This new tool constitutes a precursor of major changes in animal nutrition and feed formulations practices.  


As per application side, the global feed grade valine market can be categorized into Pig and Poultry. Valine is an essential and limiting amino acid in diets for poultry and Pig. In typical diets for pigs, valine becomes the fifth limiting amino acid after lysine, threonine, methionine and tryptophan. For broilers, valine is generally the fourth limiting amino acid after methionine, lysine and threonine in vegetable diets.
